Meet Jacey ❤️

Age 16 | Hillbilly Bo & Family: Road to Freedom

Hey everyone! My name is Jacey, and I’m 16 years old!

I love playing football, spending time with my animals, and being with my family. I also have a pretty big dream for my future.

One day, I want to become a State Trooper.

It’s something I really want to accomplish, and even though our family is getting ready for a whole new chapter, I’m not giving up on that dream.

Life hasn’t always been easy for me.

I’ve been through challenges, watched things change, and learned some lessons that I probably never expected to learn at my age.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that not everyone who comes into your life is going to stay.

Sometimes people leave. Sometimes things don’t work out the way you hoped. And sometimes life gets pretty hard.

But I’ve learned that you have to keep fighting through life to become the person you want to be.

You have to keep your head up, even when life gives you reasons to put it down.

And for me, there’s another reason I try to stay strong.

My younger siblings.

I know they look up to me, and I want to be there for them. I want them to know that even when things get difficult, we can keep moving forward.

My dad means a lot to me.

He’s been there for me, encouraged me, and always wants to see me do my best.

Even with our plans to travel, he’s working on finding a way for me to continue my education and follow my dream of becoming a State Trooper.

That means a lot because it shows me that my future still matters.

One thing I love about my family is that we enjoy playing football together.

We’re not a perfect family.

We don’t have everything figured out.

We’ve had our struggles, our hard days, and moments when things felt like they weren’t getting any better.

But there’s one thing we haven’t done. We haven’t given up on each other.

We’re just taking life one day at a time.

And now we’re getting ready for something completely different.

Our Road to Freedom!

I’m excited to see new things, visit places I’ve never been, and spend more time with my siblings.

But there’s something else that makes me want to go.

I know this new adventure makes my younger siblings happy.

I want to see them experience new things. I want to watch them have fun, laugh, and enjoy being kids.

And if this journey can help put smiles on their faces, that’s something I want to be part of.

People have told me that change isn’t always a bad thing.

Sometimes a change that seems scary at first can actually bring something better into your life.

So I started thinking…

Why not give it a shot?

I know change can be hard.

Sometimes it feels like life is never going to get better. I’ve felt that way myself, and sometimes I still do.

But I’m learning that just because things have been difficult doesn’t mean they always have to stay that way.

Sometimes you have to take a chance.

Sometimes you have to try something different.

And sometimes you have to believe that maybe, just maybe, something good is waiting ahead.

That’s what I’m hoping for with our Road to Freedom.

I want to keep working toward my dreams.

I want to make memories with my siblings.

I want us to grow closer as a family.

And more than anything, I hope to see my siblings and my dad smile more.

Because after everything we’ve been through, I think we all deserve more moments where we’re genuinely happy.

I’m Jacey. I’m 16. I have dreams I’m not giving up on, a family I love, and a new chapter ahead of me.

I don’t know exactly where this road will take us.

But I’m willing to give it a shot.

Jacey ❤️
