About Hillbilly Bo

A regular man who loves his family, loves his community and got tired of watching people be ignored while polished local headlines told only half the story.

Why this exists

Stand up. Speak plain. Put people first.

Hillbilly Bo never started this to fit somebody else's idea of a reporter. The point is to bring attention to what is happening in our towns, schools and local government; support local businesses; ask direct questions; and give people who feel unheard a place to be heard.

This is independent community awareness and commentary. Reported facts, public records and opinion are labeled so the audience can tell the difference.

“Loved, hated, talked about. Hell, long as they spell Hillbilly Bo right.”

Privacy has lines

Minors, house numbers and routine medical matters do not belong in public scanner reports.

Not red. Not blue. Just Hillbilly true. Innocent until proven guilty. Community first.
